The
Town of Bowden is poised for growth
Located on Highway 2
halfway between Innisfail and Olds, Bowden has a small-town atmosphere
with easy access to many amenities and attractions.

Bowden's history dates back to 1887 when homesteaders moved to the area
and built the Brewster House hotel along the Calgary and Edmonton Trail.
The Calgary and Edmonton Railway, operated by Canadian Pacific Railway,
arrived three years later. The community became a village in 1904 and a
town in 1981.
