RedDeerRegion.com launched Dec. 1,
2005 by AbundanceNet as an
information netMagazine covering the many features of Central Alberta. With special emphasis
on the economic, tourism, recreation, transportation, demographic,
community, cultural diversity and historic
features of the Red Deer region, this netMagazine is a continuing work
in progress and will develop more and more features as time goes on. It
will compliment other web resources of the region to promote the
attractions, economy, culture and beauty of the communities within the Counties
of Red Deer, Lacombe, Stettler,
Mountain View, Clearwater and Ponoka.

Paul has a background in
commercial printing, newspaper and magazine publishing, website
development, graphic and photographic arts, transportation planning,
financial education, driver education and personal development coaching.
He has also taken a keen interest in urban planning, community
development and regional history and has lived in Central Alberta (Red
Deer, Sylvan Lake, Innisfail and Springbrook) since 1973.
Paul is an active volunteer in a variety of boards and committees
including Forth Junction Heritage Society (President), Central Alberta
Regional Trails Society (Vice-President), Springbrook Community
Association (President), Red Deer Chamber of Commerce
(Transportation and Civic Affairs Committees), Junior Achievement
and Red Deer County Division 3 Recreation and Culture Board (chairman).
In the past, Paul has served on the Springbrook Condominium Board, Penhold-Springbrook Trail
Committee, Central Alberta Arthritis Society (Jingle Bell Run), Harvard
Historical Aviation Society (founding member), Red Deer Lupus Society and Alberta Central
Model Railway Club.
