often wide ranging, continental climate with warm summers and cool
winters usually creating ideal weather conditions for both winter and summer
activities.

The Rocky Mountains often block the moist Pacific air from the west and
channel cool air from the north. Individual snowfalls rarely exceed 15cm

years. July is the month of maximum thunderstorm and hail activity.
